ATrial fibrillation in sTroke; Utility of Neuroimaging Evaluation

ATTUNE is an MRI registry of clinical and radiological outcomes following initiation of anticoagulation after ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack in patients with atrial fibrillation. The aim is to collect baseline and follow-up clinical, process of care, and MRI data from patients who are initiated on oral anticoagulant (NOAC or VKA) within one month after acute stroke or TIA. Outcomes will include rates of recurrent stroke, health care system utilisation and process of care, as well as level of 3 month disability.
