TOTO is collecting biological samples, imaging and clinical data to examine predictors of stroke outcome, particularly in patients who undergo thrombolysis or thrombectomy. The biological samples consist of serum, plasma and genetic material collected both before and after acute therapy, and in some cases, clots retrieved via thrombectomy.
